How does AI-accelerated development actually work?

How do I track progress?

Your project dashboard updates automatically as features move through the pipeline. You'll see feature requests move from planning to in-progress to ready for review — no status meetings needed. What if my requirements change mid-development cycle?

That's what iterative development is built for. We can adjust effort units and re-prioritize the feature queue. If changes are significant, we'll propose a development cycle scope adjustment. Feature requests that haven't started can be swapped out. You're always in control of what gets built.

How do I communicate with the team?

Primarily through the platform's chat interface — you talk to your AI Product Owner in plain language. For complex discussions, you can schedule video meetings with engineers. How long does a typical development cycle take?

Development cycle length is configured to your project — typically 1-2 weeks. Each development cycle delivers working software you can review and approve. The first development cycle includes onboarding and project setup, which takes about a day.

Pricing & Billing

How does effort unit pricing work?

Effort units represent complexity, not hours. We estimate based on project analysis — what needs to be built, how many systems are involved, and testing requirements. A simple feature might be 3 units, a complex one 13 units. Your monthly subscription includes a set number of units. Need more? Add them anytime. Need fewer? Scale down next month. How are effort units estimated?

Our AI analyzes your project to estimate complexity — architecture scope, dependency graph, testing requirements, integration points. Estimates use the Fibonacci scale (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89) based on relative complexity, not hours. See how we estimate →

What counts as an effort unit?

An effort unit reflects relative complexity. A simple UI change might be 2 units, a new API endpoint with tests might be 5 units, and a complex integration could be 13 units. During planning, you'll see the breakdown before approving the development cycle. See complexity examples →

What if I run out of effort units?

You can purchase additional effort units at any time during the month at $400/EU. They're added instantly to your current development cycle capacity. Upgrading your plan is more cost-effective for consistent needs.

Do unused effort units roll over?

Effort units don't roll over between months. We work with you during development cycle planning to ensure your full allocation is used on the highest-priority features. Development cycles often complete ahead of schedule thanks to AI acceleration, so you can start your next development cycle early.

Can I change plans mid-month?

You can upgrade at any time — the price difference is prorated for the remainder of the month. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Do you offer annual discounts?

Yes. Annual commitments receive a 15–25% tiered discount (Starter 15%, Growth 20%, Scale/Enterprise 25%). You can switch from monthly to annual at any time. Contact us to discuss annual pricing for your tier.

What payment methods do you accept?

We're flexible. Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), wire transfers (SWIFT, SEPA), and cryptocurrency — including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, USDC, Solana (SOL), and other major coins on ERC-20, BEP-20, TRC-20, and Solana networks. What's the cancellation policy?

No contracts, no commitments. Cancel anytime before your next billing cycle. Your current development cycle will be completed, and you retain full read-only access to the code repository for 90 days. You own the code and IP — clone it anytime during that window. Full terms →

Does Toolwiz provide hosting?

Hosting is not included in our standard plans. Toolwiz delivers production-ready code — you deploy and host it on the infrastructure of your choice. Quality & Security

How do you ensure code quality?

Quality is built into every step of our process. Every feature request must be clearly defined before development begins. Automated quality checks run continuously during development. Is my code and data secure?

We request read-only access to your repository for project analysis. All implementation happens in secure, isolated environments. Delivered code lives in a managed repository with read-only access provided to you via SSH keys or an access token. We sign NDAs and follow enterprise security standards. Security details →

Do I own the code?

Yes, 100%. All code is yours. It lives in a managed repository where you have read-only access via SSH keys or an access token. We don't retain any rights to the code, architecture, or IP. You can take the codebase and continue development independently at any time.

How do I access the delivered code?

You get read-only access to the managed code repository via SSH public keys or a provided access token. You can clone the repository at any time. After cancellation, access is preserved for 90 days. Security details →

Affiliate Program

How does the affiliate program work?

Every Toolwiz user is automatically an affiliate. Share your unique referral link, and when someone signs up and subscribes through it, you earn commission. Your link and stats are available in your workspace under Settings > Affiliate. Learn more →

What commissions do I earn?

You earn 10% commission on your referral's first subscription payment (any plan) and 25% on extras, add-ons, and services they purchase. Additional effort unit purchases are excluded from commission. See commission details →

How do I get paid?

Commission is credited to your affiliate balance after the refund cooldown period following your referral's payment. Once the balance is payable, reach out to support to claim your payout. We pay in BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, and SOL across ERC-20, BEP-20, TRC-20, Solana, and Bitcoin networks.

Is there a minimum payout?

No. Once commission clears the refund cooldown period, you can claim any amount. Configure your preferred cryptocurrency and wallet address in Settings > Affiliate.

Do effort unit purchases count for commissions?

No. Additional effort unit purchases made by your referrals are excluded from commission. Commission applies to the first subscription payment and to extras, add-ons, and services.

How long does the referral tracking last?

When someone clicks your affiliate link, a referral cookie is stored for 90 days. If they sign up within that window, the referral is attributed to you. We use first-touch attribution — the first affiliate link clicked is the one that gets credit. Privacy policy →

Can I customize my affiliate code?

Yes. Every affiliate gets an auto-generated short code, but you can set a custom code (3-32 characters, lowercase, URL-safe) in Settings > Affiliate. This makes your link easier to share and remember.
